Welcome to the Magnetics and Machines Research Group at UCD, Dublin, Ireland. Our main area of research is in motor and magnetic design, in particular reluctance motor design.

We have also developed MagSolve, a Finite Element Cad System which is used as a tool to aid in design work.

This system is available FREE.
