MagSolve pre-processing

AutoCad Imports: MagSolve can now import and export dxf drawing files, so you can exploit the power of AutoCAD in your magnetic designs.
Drawing Tools: Alternatively, the package has its own drawing tools, so you can also design models completely in MagSolve.
Automatic Mesh Generation: From the model outline a rough initial finite element mesh is generated automatically.
Binary Constraints: Use of binary contraints means only a section of a model needs to be drawn. In the case of the reluctance motor shown above it is only necessary to model a quarter section.
Problem Definition: The adding of constraints, detailing of currents and materials has been made easy with interactive pop-up windows.

Adaptive Mesh Refinement: Once a problem has been defined the model can be solve adaptively. This ensures the generation of a refined finite element mesh that will provide an accurate solution. This feature has been developed with the specific case of models with thin air gaps in mind and the accompanying problems with elements with poor aspect ratio.
